This page explains, in plain language, what information Pointours handles and why. Last updated: July 2026.
When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, contact information, travel dates and the experiences you are interested in. When you book through our partner platforms (such as GetYourGuide or TripAdvisor), those platforms share the booking details we need to host you, under their own privacy policies.
Our website stores a small preference in your browser (for example, your light or dark theme choice). We use standard server logs and basic analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.
We use your information to answer your questions, confirm and operate your tour (including meeting point coordination on WhatsApp), improve our website and experiences, and meet legal obligations that apply to tour operators in Italy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people and services needed to run your experience: your guide or photographer, the booking platform you used, and providers such as email and hosting services.
Photos and videos from your experience are delivered to you privately. We only use guest imagery in our marketing if you have given us permission.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR), you may have additional rights. To exercise any of them, email us and we will respond as quickly as we can.
